RIT President Gives Students a Free Ride—To Class

President Albert Simone will offer students rides to classes, Sept. 8

Getting to class on your first day of college can be an overwhelming experience. So many people, so many buildings. If you’re at RIT, perhaps your university’s president can help you out.

On Monday, Sept. 8, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., RIT President Albert Simone plans to offer students rides to class in his “Presidential Golf Cart.” An official welcome to campus, it gives students the unique opportunity to chat one-on-one with RIT’s president.

The “Presidential Golf Cart” will travel along the quarter mile from the residence halls to the academic side of campus.
