U.S. Business School in Prague Celebrates 12th Commencement

RIT has granted more than 400 MBA degrees to students at the overseas school

Rochester Institute of Technology’s business school in Prague, Czech Republic, has awarded degrees to 16 new graduates of its MBA program, along with shorter graduate program certificates to another four students.

The U.S. Business School held its 12th annual commencement ceremony on June 26. RIT College of Business Dean Thomas Hopkins, who is also president of the U.S. Business School, was on hand to distribute diplomas during the ceremony. Craig Stapleton, U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic, delivered the keynote address.

This year’s graduating class continues a tradition of diversity at the school with students representing countries from several countries, including Canada, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, the United States and Yugoslavia.

RIT has granted MBA degrees to more than 400 graduates of the U.S. Business School. Many members of the school’s alumni now hold senior management positions in the Czech Republic.
