Henry's Restaurant at RIT Open for Spring

Looking for a restaurant that’s suitable for business lunches or to entertain clients amidst a sea of fast-food eateries in Henrietta? Henry’s restaurant, featuring a candlelit, fine-dining motif, is open for spring quarter, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through May 15.

Located on the fourth floor of the George Eastman Building at Rochester Institute of Technology, Henry’s offers "light bistro" menu selections such as sautéed beef tenderloin, poached chicken Florentine with wild rice pilaf and pasta penne with sautéed asparagus and tomatoes. A variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, beverages and desserts are also available.

Henry’s, which seats 70, is open to the public. Reservations are encouraged by calling 475-2351 or by sending e-mail to henrys@rit.edu. Take-outs are available.

Run by integrated service management, restaurant management and restaurant operations students in RIT’s hospitality and service management department, Henry’s is in its 18th year. The restaurant is named for Henry Lomb, founding partner of Bausch & Lomb Inc. and major benefactor to RIT’s food-management program.

RIT’s 108-year-old hospitality and service management department, one of the first in the nation, is part of the university’s College of Applied Science and Technology.
