RIT Students and Alumni Team Up to Feed the Poor, Jan. 29

Annual PBJam to donate prepared lunches to the Open Door Mission

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY

Rochester Institute of Technology students and alumni will put their culinary skills to work Jan. 29, as they team to prepare a classic college meal: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The group is not seeking a cure for late-night munchies, however. Each of the 500 sandwiches it hopes to prepare will be sent to the Open Door Mission to help feed the poor.

The event, which is sponsored by RIT’s Office of Alumni Relations and RIT Student Government, is from 7-9 p.m. in the Student Alumni Union cafeteria on the RIT campus.
