Founder of Sun Edison Speaks at RIT

Jigar Shah will present “Solar Energy and the Climate Change Solution”

Jigar Shah, founder and chief strategy officer of solar energy services provider SunEdison, will present “Solar Energy and the Climate Change Solution” at 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Rochester Institute of Technology. His talk will focus on SunEdison’s business model, the benefits of solar energy business development and policy issues related to the expansion of the solar economy.

Shah founded SunEdison in 2003 and has built the company into one of North America’s leading solar energy services companies. Prior to joining SunEdison, Shah served in a number of sales and strategy positions for BP Solar.
