First-Ever Imagine RIT Poster and YouTube Video Clip to be Revealed, April 25

Latest developments related to university’s innovation and creativity festival to be announced

At the intersection between right brain and left brain exists the epicenter for innovation and creativity. The convergence of these two forces helps turns fantasy into fact—curiosity into creation. Now, an artistic rendition of this phenomenon is ready to be unveiled.

Rochester Institute of Technology will reveal its first-ever Imagine RIT festival poster during a campus celebration at 10 a.m. Friday, April 25, in the Eastman Building lobby on the RIT campus.

The poster is a free gift to visitors attending Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival, which takes place on campus Saturday, May 3. Its design was selected from dozens of entries submitted by RIT students to a contest held earlier in the school year.

Also debuting on April 25 is the official Imagine RIT YouTube video clip, also resulting from a student competition on campus. RIT President Bill Destler will congratulate the creators of both the poster and the video at this event.

Additionally, Barry Culhane, chair of the festival committee, will present A Day at Imagine RIT, a summary of what visitors can expect as they plan their visit to campus on May 3, including important details on parking.

WHAT: Imagine RIT pre-festival celebration

WHEN: 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25

NOTE: Media is welcome to interview President Bill Destler, festival chair Barry Culhane, and the students submitting the winning poster design and YouTube video clip
