RIT’s SPAS Gallery Hosts Student Honors Exhibition

Student work of the highest caliber on view through Aug. 11

The School of Photographic Arts and Sciences’ SPAS Gallery at Rochester Institute of Technology celebrates the culmination of an academic year with the “SPAS Student Honors Exhibition.”

The show, which runs through Aug. 11, celebrates the creativity of students who participate in all seven of the School of Photographic Art and Science disciplines: advertising, biomedical, photojournalism, fine art, visual media imaging and photographic technology, and graduate fine art imaging.

On view in the Honors Exhibition are photographs, videos, book art, technical reports, new media and installations. Later in the year, work from the show will be featured in SPAS events at Photo Plus East (New York City) and Photo Marketing Association shows in Orlando, Fla.

SPAS Gallery, located on the third floor of RIT’s Frank E. Gannett Building, is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and by appointment on weekends. For more information, call Therese Mulligan at (585) 475-2884.
