RIT Hosts Third Annual Tiger Tracks Train Show, Dec. 6-7

Show presents perfect holiday shopping opportunity for train lovers

Rochester Institute of Technology’s Model Railroad Club will host its third annual Tiger Tracks Train Show from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Gordon Field House and Activities Center.

The show will feature vendors, operating layouts, hands-on layouts for kids, railroad literature and other various displays. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens. Admission is free for children under the age of 12.

RIT students founded the Model Railroad Club in 1996 to promote the hobby of model railroading and to preserve Rochester’s rich railroad heritage. Club members include RIT students and alumni, as well as people from the Rochester community. The club meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesday nights in room A-420 in RIT’s Student Alumni Union. The meetings are open to the public.
