RIT Presents Conference for Undergraduate Research in Communication

Research featured includes impact of text messaging on grade-point averages

Rochester Institute of Technology will host students from across the United States at its sixth annual undergraduate research conference in communication April 16. The event features paper and poster presentations on a wide range of research topics including the impact of text messaging on student grade-point averages and the depiction of female images in Disney films.

The conference, sponsored by RIT’s Department of Communication, will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in the Louise M. Slaughter Building on the RIT campus. Presenters will be available for one-on-one interviews before and after their talks.
