RIT’s United Way hosts eat-a-thon with Taste of RIT on April 23

All it costs is $6! You are invited to the 17th Annual Taste of RIT where you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat-and-drink marathon to benefit the 2009 RIT United Way Campaign. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, in the SAU Davis Room (cafeteria). This year, the tasting offers healthier fare for discriminating tastes, plus some “unusual” selections to sample.

With the price of admission, guests are entered into a drawing for dozens of wonderful prizes donated by RIT departments and local businesses—from dance lessons at Arthur Murray School of Dancing and tickets to Blackfriars Theatre, to bagels for a year certificates and fitness passes. Extra tickets can be purchased—$1 for one ticket and $5 for an arm’s length (20 tickets).

The RIT United Way Steering Committee offers special thanks to this year’s sponsors: RIT Food Service, Palmer Food Services and more than a dozen area food vendors.
