Speaker to Discuss Career Skills

Lecture features alumnus and Impact Technology director Gregory Kacprzynski

The 2009-2010 Kate Gleason College of Engineering Dean’s Alumni Speaker Series continues with Gregory Kacprzynski, a graduate of the mechanical engineering program. He will present “Key Non-Technical Skills That Can Catapult Your Career Success” at 1 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Xerox Auditorium in the James E. Gleason Building. The program is free and open to the public.

Kacprzynski is director of engineering services for Rochester-based company Impact Technologies, an advanced engineering consulting firm specializing in technologies for health-monitoring systems, military and commercial electrical equipment.

Kacprzynski directs engineering teams that develop software and provide consulting support for system health management including diagnostic, prognostic and reasoning technologies, physics of failure modeling, intelligent control and maintenance optimization for both private industry and U.S. Department of Defense agencies. He received his undergraduate engineering degree in 1997 and graduate degree in 2002.
