RIT’s Gordon Field House and Activities Center will be the venue for Student Government’s annual Super Bowl Showdown Feb. 7.

Rochester Institute of Technology students are known for doing everything in a big way. And what’s bigger than the Super Bowl this week?

RIT’s Student Government is hosting their annual Super Bowl Showdown 5-10 p.m. this Sunday in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. Theater-sized screens with captioning will display the action between the Saints and the Colts, while students relax on comfortable furniture and enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza and wings. Students can also register to win $2,500 in prizes during the game.

“The RIT Student Government Annual Super Bowl Showdown is an event that brings our student body together,” says Matt Danna, RIT student government president. “The environment is energized and students leave filled with RIT spirit. It’s a great event.”

The event is only open to the RIT community.
