Following a national search, Rochester Institute of Technology has named Todd S. Jokl as dean of the College of Art and Design, RIT Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Ellen Granberg announced today. Jokl begins his new leadership role on Aug. 5.

RIT alumni and their families are invited to visit the Alumni Oasis inside the Gene Polisseni Center (center ice) during the annual Imagine RIT: Creativity & Innovation Festival. While visiting the Oasis, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities such as our Extreme Rush Obstacle Course and our photo booth.

Help RIT help Haiti

This summer, a group of passionate RIT students will travel to Haiti in order to implement an array of social development senior design projects. Program Prof. Brownell and her student teams will implement their SOIL’s household separating toilet. They will also teach residents how to create Lavi Miyo soap and mango juice powder in order to help improve sanitation. They are currently crowdfunding in order to pay for the trip and can use your help!

Alum supports ambitious theatre production

On April 27, RIT Theatre Arts will invite Imagine RIT audiences to view three working rehearsals of AI-Pollo.In addition to seeing the production-in-process, audiences will see the latest career, and strong RIT connections, of alum Jon Roberts, Ph.D., ’70. The Imagine RIT festival production will be "off-book" on a limited set in the Center for MAGIC.
