The largest construction project on the RIT campus in more than 50 years remains on track to open in fall 2023. When complete, the Student Hall for Exploration and Development (SHED) will cover more than 120,000 square feet of new construction as well as more than 83,000 square feet of renovations in two existing buildings.

RIT alumnus and trustee Frank Sklarsky ’78 and his wife, Ruth, have made a significant gift to the university’s one-of-a-kind maker space and performing arts complex. They have given $2.5 million to RIT’s Student Hall for Exploration and Development (the SHED) to establish the Sklarsky Glass Box Theater.

Saunders College of Business is proud to offer the Herbert W. Vanden Brul Entrepreneurial Student Award. This award will be presented to an RIT student who has proven their potential to become a successful entrepreneur.

International graduate students may be eligible to work in the United States for up to three years after graduating from RIT.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented annually by each of RIT’s nine colleges and the School of Individualized Study to alumni who have performed at the highest levels of their profession or who have contributed to the advancement and leadership of civic, philanthropic, or service organizations.

Traditional business practices work hand in hand with the latest industry innovations at Saunders College of Business. Here, master of science in finance students can explore traditional corporate finance and investment management as readily as the latest emerging fintech. The curriculum is embedded in understanding software and artificial intelligence and is taught by nationally-renowned faculty.

RIT’s partnership with Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), in India, has expanded to allow VIT students to spend the latter two years of their undergraduate business studies in RIT’s Saunders College of Business.
