5th Honors Program Colloquium: Showcasing academic excellence and innovation
On Friday, December 6, our Zagreb campus hosted the 5th Honors Program Colloquium, where students presented their research projects developed under faculty mentorship. The Honors Program, launched in fall 2022, provides a platform for outstanding students to engage in advanced research and deepen their academic experience at RIT Croatia.
Led by Dr. Jakob Patekar, Associate Dean for Research and General Education, and Marija Šušak Mišetić, Academic Affairs & Student Services Department Manager, this semester's cohort of 13 students’ showcased projects spanning a wide range of fields, including art, business, psychology, programming and more.
This semester, we welcomed 16 students who highlighted their work on a diverse array of topics spanning algorithms, art, business, psychology, and more:

Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply to the program by selecting an Honors option from courses offered by RIT Croatia faculty. With guidance from their mentor, they delve into a chosen topic for in-depth exploration. This process not only enhances learning outcomes but may also result in tangible outputs such as studies, papers, or projects.
