DigHealth Project Kicks Off with Training Sessions in Greece
The ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE DigHealth project officially launched its kick-off meeting and first in-person training sessions from January 20-23 at the University of Piraeus, Greece. Bringing together 14 experts from 10 partner universities and organizations, these sessions focused on developing Micro-credentials in Digital Health for Ethiopia and Somalia, equipping healthcare professionals with essential digital health competencies.
Led by Dr. Martin Žagar as the Principal Investigator, alongside Dr. Ana Havelka Meštrović and Dr. Alan Mutka, the DigHealth project is dedicated to improving healthcare access and quality in underserved and remote areas. Through academic programs in telemedicine, e-health, and advanced digital technologies, the project aims to empower medical professionals to tackle critical healthcare challenges.
