Project01: An AI workspace for smarter startup building
Project01 is an AI workspace designed for early-stage founders who want to build smarter, faster, and with more clarity. It acts as a personalized “control center” for all startup data, combining an interactive roadmap, real-time progress tracking, automated reporting, and instant feedback into one streamlined platform.
Where education meets innovation
Behind the platform is a team of three co-founders: Global Business Management/IB students Antonia Kurtović and Vitomir Pavičić, and a New Media Design student, Nora Miškulin. Antonia brings experience from the startup ecosystem as an organizer of Croatia’s first Startup Conference and Academy for high school students, a published researcher on AI in productivity, and one of Croatia’s Top 30 Under 30. Nora, a three-time national math competitor, bridges design and technology, focusing on intuitive user experience. From the technical side, her education helps her shape Project01 as a visual, intuitive workspace that makes complex processes feel simple. With Vitomir’s mentoring and research experience, the team blends audience insight with technical and business skills. They also have strong support from faculty members, who “guide them on talking with investors, pitching ideas, and managing team dynamics,” Antonia explains.
The team kicked off their journey by interviewing more than 50 founders, investors, incubators, and mentors, mapping out how early-stage teams work. They found the same patterns everywhere: scattered frameworks and fragmented tools, duplicated work, difficulty tracking progress, and constant pressure to keep investors updated. That gap turned into the core problem Project01 set out to solve. As Antonia puts it, “Founders waste too much of their time planning instead of building. Support for founders should be as innovative as the founders themselves.”
The thrill of building a startup
For the founders, the most rewarding part of the journey so far has been realizing how much they enjoy building this product together. Antonia explains, “It’s full of challenges we’ve never faced before, but it gives us a thrill. Even with a long to-do list, we feel excited and fulfilled.” The shared motivation, diving deep, researching, and figuring things out, keeps the team aligned and energized.
Looking ahead, their vision is clear: by the end of next year, Project01 aims to be in the hands of early-stage founders. The team plans to launch the product and raise its first round of funding to grow. As of now, “we are fully focused on product development, making sure the workspace is something founders will genuinely want to build inside,” Antonia explained.
