RIT Croatia at Zagreb Design Week 2025: Fragments of Reality

RIT Croatia returns to this year's Zagreb Design Week with our exhibition, Fragments of Reality. Created by our talented students and guided by faculty member Mia Klemenčić, the exhibition asks a central question: Where does reality truly begin? Is it on a screen, in a memory, or somewhere in between? This exhibition is part of Zagreb Design Week’s official program and runs from September 9 to 21, 2025. It explores the intersections of our digital and physical lives and is presented in two distinct locations:

  • Jadran Film (Zagreb): Here, we delve into the digital realm through QR codes, interactive works, and reflective prompts.
  • RIT Croatia Zagreb Campus: This space showcases the physical realm, featuring posters, films, installations, and games.

Through this interesting, dual approach, Fragments of Reality highlights the creativity and innovation of our students, offering visitors a fresh perspective on identity and connection in today's hybrid world.

We are also proud to share that New Media Design student Matija Mravunac has been selected as a finalist for the ZGDW AWARD 2025 for his virtual pet game prototype, Merp, in the Digital Communication Design and Interaction Design category.

We invite you to join us and experience the captivating works of our students firsthand: come and discover the Fragments of Reality for yourself!
