R.I.T.A. project kick-off conference
R.I.T.A. – Enhancing RIT Croatia’s Capacity for Co-op, Academic and Career Development of Students is a new EU-funded project focused on strengthening how RIT Croatia supports students throughout their academic and career journeys, improving the quality and scope of student co-op placements, modernizing the co-op evaluation process, strengthening career counseling, and building an active alumni community.
As the labor market continues to evolve, staying connected with industry partners and understanding changing workplace expectations is becoming increasingly important. To mark the official launch of the project, RIT Croatia will host the R.I.T.A. Kick-Off Conference on Wednesday, September 30, at 2:30 PM in Room 46 at the Zagreb campus.
The central part of the event will be a panel discussion titled “What Gen Z Wants, What Employers Expect & Where the Gap Is,” bringing together perspectives from employers, recent graduates, and RIT Croatia alumni. The panel will explore changing expectations on both sides of the transition from higher education to employment, as well as the skills, experiences, and support that can help students navigate this transition.
The panel will feature:
- Dino Lučan, HR Director at Newfire Global Partners and RIT Croatia alumnus
- Luka Alaupović, Sales & Marketing Manager at Medora Hotels & Resorts and RIT Croatia alumnus
- Leonela Krajač, RCS Product Marketing Intern at Infobip and recent RIT Croatia graduate
- Moderator: Nina Mimica, Instructor at RIT Croatia
The Kick-Off Conference will provide an opportunity to bring together different perspectives and begin an open conversation about how these connections can continue to evolve.
