Each scholarship amount is distributed across the four years of study and may be used exclusively for the Web and Mobile Computing program delivered on campus in Dubrovnik or Zagreb.

How to participate?

The contest is open for students who are finishing high school this year or have finished it in 2025:

Timeline: March 16 to April 4, 2026

Candidates complete an online registration form

Timeline: Online test sent the day after the registration

Format: Asynchronous online test, single attempt only

Structure: 22 questions, time limit of 10 minutes.

Content focus: Logical questions, basic digital literacy, problem solving, analytical thinking

Timeline: Document upload open until April 4, 2026

Required materials: High school transcripts (1st, 2nd and 3rd grade) and motivational letter in text form

  • Motivational letter guidelines: max 400 words, in English, focus areas (Why Web and Mobile Computing? Why RIT Croatia? Personal motivation and interests and learning mindset and future goals)

Evaluation weight: Grades approximately 20% of the total pre-final score

Timeline: April 7 to April 15, 2026

Format: Primarily on campus, online option available if needed

Interview structure: 30-minute interview

Interview focus: motivation for WMC and RIT Croatia, communication skills, English fluency

Scoring weight: The interview contributes approximately 30% to the overall score

Timeline: Completed within two days after interviews conclude, finalized by April 17, 2026

Selection criteria: Combined performance across logic test, grades, motivation answer, and interview

Number of finalists: 10 total finalists across Zagreb and Dubrovnik campuses

Format: Full-day onsite challenge on both campuses, hybrid setup between Zagreb and Dubrovnik campuses connected via Zoom.

Date: April 18, 226 (Saturday)

Concept: Candidates will use the Lovable platform to design and prototype a digital solution for a real-life problem. No prior coding knowledge required.

Evaluation criteria:

  1. Innovation: 40%
  2. Functionality and logic: 30%
  3. Presentation skills: 30%

Who can participate?

Eligible candidates must be:

  • The contest is open for students who are finishing high school this year or have finished it in 2025
  • interested in applying to the Web and Mobile Computing program
  • Croatian or international students
  • demonstrate solid academic performance, with particular attention to mathematics and informatics
  • participate in all required stages of the competition

No prior programming knowledge is required at any stage of the competition.
