Housing Team
Provides leadership and direction of the operations and strategic planning initiatives for RIT’s housing system. Develops analytical support for business growth and development for RIT’s housing system.
Manages RIT Housing’s marketing, communication, and social media plan as well as our website. Oversees front desk operations and student ambassadors.
Responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of the departments overall customer experience. Manages the department’s summer conference program, daily housing tours, open house events, move-in, and move-out. Oversees the Assistant Director and Housing Services Coordinator.
Manages roommate requests, the assignment of first-year students, and processes related to Special Interest, Greek, and Honors housing. Also responsible for the early arrival and late departure processes.
Oversees the assignment team and Senior Financial Assistant. Manages strategic plans for housing assignment processes and occupancy. Maintains myLife portal processes used by students to complete their housing business.
Assists the assignment team in processing and coordinating room change requests, spring assignments, summer term housing assignments, Global Scholar and visiting guest assignments.
Manages administrative processes and procedures related to RIT housing Billing. Responsible for updating our system in order to ensure proper charges for each semester/term.
Provides day to day support to the RIT Service Center and customer service experience as it relates to RIT Housing. Internally manages all level two ServiceNow tickets and creates and updates Housing knowledge base articles. U.S. Census Bureau liaison for department and is also responsible for management of the Under 18 Proxy forms and residency verifications.
Facilities Team
Jeremy oversees budgeting, planning, implementation, and analysis of all Housing Facilities operations. He serves on RIT's Critical Management Incident Team and the Emergency Operations Group.
Adrienne provides administrative support, oversees daily operations, and coordinates maintenance requests for Housing Facilities. She also manages contractors and accounts receivable for apartments.
Katie is responsible for the operations within Residence Halls. She oversees inventory, key control, and life safety program systems in the apartments.
Jerry is responsible for the operations within University Commons, Riverknoll, Greek Circle,and Perkins Green. Jerry is the main point of contact for new project management.
Greg is responsible for the operations within Global Village residential and commercial areas. He oversees grounds maintenance and custodial for all properties, except for residence halls.
Greg oversees Special Projects and the maintenance at 175 Jefferson Road. Greg is the Housing Facilities expert on pest control.
Becky is responsible for ensuring the department is in compliance regarding the development of departmental operational manuals, polices, procedures and staff training requirements. Becky is also responsible for receiving and ensuring the implementation of ADA housing requests.
Dave oversees OFPC yearly inspections, monthly fire, health and safety inspections and life safety initiatives within RIT Housing.
Jim performs monthly fire, health, and safety inspections and maintains all life safety equipment in RIT apartments. He also assists with key and lock changes.
Robin performs monthly fire, health, and safety inspections and maintains all life safety equipment in RIT apartments. He also assists with key and lock changes.
Deanna is responsible for all keys and card access for RIT Housing. She coordinates lock changes and key core rotations. She assists with student room changes and assignments within the Residence Halls.
Frank oversees the purchasing, management, and distribution of the inventory and equipment needed to maintain RIT Housing operations and grounds. He assists with Residence Hall equipment.
Dan manages all RIT Housing furniture and RIT Housing laundry facilities, with the exception of the RIT Inn.
Ausberto is responsible for the maintenance of University Commons.
Robert is responsible for the maintenance of University Commons.
Mike is responsible for the maintenance of University Commons.
Xavier is responsible for the maintenance of Riverknoll.
Mike is responsible for the maintenance of Greek Free Standing, serves as the floating mechanic, and assists with projects throughout RIT Housing and Auxiliary Services.
Vito is responsible for the maintenance of Perkins Greens.
Zachary is responsible for the maintenance of Perkins Greens.
Ed manages and maintains all painting projects for RIT Housing and assists with Auxiliary Services department painting projects.
Dennis is responsible for the daily custodial needs within Global Village residential and commercial areas and Riverknoll common areas.
Dave assists in the daily custodial needs in Global Village residential and commercial common areas.
Nathan assists in the daily custodial needs in Global Village, which encompasses the residential and commercial common areas.
James assists in the daily custodial needs in Global Village, which includes the residential and common areas.
George is responsible for the maintenance of all RIT Housing grounds. He also assists with exterior projects.
Kenny assists with maintenance of all RIT Housing grounds. He also assists with exterior projects.
