About the Community
Floors within Residence Hall B offers an elevated upper‑level living experience for students entering their second year and beyond. This community is designed for students who want the convenience of on‑campus housing paired with spaces and programming that match the independence, energy, and momentum of the upper‑level experience.
Residents enjoy exclusive access to a newly refreshed A level lounge and kitchen—warm, modern spaces perfect for cooking with friends, hosting study sessions, relaxing between classes, or simply connecting with the people who make campus feel like home. Community programs are crafted with upper‑level students in mind, offering opportunities to build meaningful relationships, explore personal interests, and stay engaged throughout the year.

A comfortable, flexible space designed for both productivity and downtime. Features include:
- Study and dining tables
- Soft seating for relaxing
- A TV for shared use
Kitchen
A shared kitchen available exclusively to Residence Hall B upper-level floor residents, equipped with:
- Stovetop
- Oven
- Microwave
- Large sink
- Countertop workspace
The shared kitchen does not supply:
- Pots & pans
- Utensils
- Cooking accessories
- Plates, bowls, cups, or any other tableware
Good to know:
- This is a carry‑in, carry‑out space; there is no refrigerator.
- Personal cooking appliances may not be brought into the kitchen.
- Disallowed cooking appliances including but not limited to: rice cookers, toasters, toaster ovens, Instant Pots, cook tops, air fryers are prohibited.
- Food and personal items (i.e. plates, bowls, silverware) are carry‑in, carry‑out.
- The kitchen is planned to be available 24/7.
- Only residents of the upper-level community will have swipe access to the community lounge and kitchen.
- Students living here are still required to have a meal plan.
Location
The community kitchen is located on A level in the tunnel system beneath Residence Hall B.
