We currently have three Panara exhibits open on campus:

  1. Dyer Arts Center – A Fearless Trailblazer: Dr. Robert F. Panara
    Open until Friday, September 19
    Closing reception: Friday, September 19 at 4:30-6:30 p.m. with special guest, John Panara
    Interpreter requested
  2. RADSCC – Deaf Beat Summit: An Explosion of ASL Poetry
    On view for the full academic year
  3. RIT Museum – Hands in Motion: Celebrating Robert F. Panara
    On view for the full academic year
    Opening reception: Thursday, September 11, 2:00–4:00 p.m.. with guests Bernard Hurwitz and John Panara
    Interpreters available

Free Books
Thanks to Dr. Alesia Allen, NTID Access, Engagement & Success, we have 50 free copies of Teaching from the Heart and Soul: The Robert F. Panara Story by Harry Lang. Note that we have the unlimited licensed e-Book version as well.

Books will be distributed during mini-tours at the Dyer Arts Center on Monday, September 8, from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (while supplies last).

There will be a book discussion with Professor Sarah Kinor on Friday, October 1, 12-1 in LBJ, 2590. Interpreter requested.
