Bower Maker Showcase
A flexible showcase for making, sharing, and gathering.
The Bower Maker Showcase is a highly adaptable space designed to support creativity, exhibitions, collaboration, and community engagement. The space can remain in its open configuration for ideation and brainstorming sessions, transform into a gallery environment with podiums and lighting for exhibits, or be arranged in a lecture-style setup for presentations and small events.
The Showcase includes a ceiling-mounted projector with a built-in screen, butcher block tables with stools, and lounge seating to support both formal and informal gatherings. Additional furnishings and customized layouts may be accommodated with advance coordination through FMS Events. Food is permitted in the space, making it well-suited for receptions, gallery openings, hands-on activities, and collaborative programming.
To reserve the Bower Maker Showcase, log in to RIT’s Event Management System (EMS), select “Create a Reservation” from the menu on the left, then click the “Book Now” button for “Request Meeting/Event Space.”
