Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) Summer Japanese Language Program
KIT (Kanazawa Institute of Technology) Summer Program in Japanese is a five-week RIT summer fellowship program designed to give participants a rich experience in improving Japanese communication skills and understanding Japanese culture and society. You'll participate in cultural programs, field trips, and develop projects, in addition to attending lectures and participating in daily classroom activities. Killiam Fellowships
Provides an opportunity for exceptional undergraduate students from universities in the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in Canada.

Lady Davis fellowship Trust for Visiting Scholars and Professors
The Lady Davis Fellowship Trust offers Fellowships at the Hebrew University and at the Technion to Visiting Professors, Post-Doctoral Researchers and Doctoral Students. The Trust has been active for 49 years since its inception in 1973. To date, the Trust has offered Fellowships to 1,016 Visiting Professors, 817 Post-Doctoral Researchers, 545 Doctoral Students, and has sent 176 Post-Doctoral Students to Universities abroad. Fellowships exist to provide the opportunity for leading scientists and scholars and postdoctoral researchers from abroad, regardless of nationality, gender or field of scholarship to teach, study and participate in research in Israel at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and at the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa.

Lafayette Fellowship

Designed to support the next generation of young leaders with a strong interest in the transatlantic relationship, the Lafayette Fellowship will fund one year of master’s-level study in France for up to 30 outstanding American students.

Open to both Francophone and non-Francophone candidates, the program partners with leading French academic institutions across STEM, humanities, social sciences, and the arts, with courses taught in French or entirely in English.

In addition to their academic studies, fellows will also participate in the French-American Leadership Program – a year-long series of lectures, masterclasses, site visits, and mentorship – providing full immersion in European innovation, culture, and policy. 

The program aims to deepen academic and cultural exchange between France and the U.S. and nurture future leaders. The Fellowship will encourage reflection on major global challenges, such as environmental challenges and sustainability; health and biotechnology; peace and security; social equity and democratic issues; digital technologies; and artificial intelligence.

There is no language requirement for the Fellowship. However, if your academic program is taught partially or entirely in French, you must provide proof of French language proficiency.

Lakselaget Foundation Scholarship
Applicants for the Lakselaget Foundation Scholarship Fund should have an interest in contemporary Norway and all things Norwegian, and a desire to develop their own interests in another field, such as the sciences, technology, business, politics, language and culture, and who seek to enhance and disseminate their knowledge. Applicants should be in a work situation where a short-term position in a similar job in Norway would be beneficial to their career. This opportunity could be used to supplement funding for an international exchange or internship within the same field, or for a short-term work opportunity that provides a chance to learn about another country.

Luce Scholars Program
Established in 1974, the Luce Scholars Program is a nationally competitive fellowship that offers early-career leaders immersive, professional experiences in Asia. The goal of the program is to provide an Asian experience for those who will be future leaders in their field and communities, but have yet to have significant contact with Asian affairs. The Luce Scholars Program selection criteria include an applicant's: (a) strong, mature, and clearly defined career interest in a specific field (any professional field but Asian Affairs is acceptable); (b) motivation and potential for accomplishment within their field; (c) academic achievement, especially in their field; (d) capacity for leadership; and (e) openness to new ideas and a sensitivity to their fellow human beings. The single most important consideration is that nominees give evidence of potential for leadership and accomplishment, both within a chosen profession and as members of the broader American community.

Marshall Scholarship
Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to 50 Scholars are selected each year to study at a graduate level at a UK institution in any field of study. Mediterranean Diet in Greece - Perrotis College, RIT Study Abroad Scholarship
RIT students applying to the Mediterranean Diet in Greece summer program through Perrotis College are eligible for RIT scholarship funding. Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship
The Japanese Government Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho or MEXT) sponsors the Monbukagakusho Scholarship to enable foreign students from around the world to earn undergraduate degrees, study Japanese language and culture at the undergraduate level, train in Japanese specialized training colleges, and research a broad range of topics at the graduate level in Japanese universities. National Geographic Society Research and Exploration Grant
The National Geographic Society awards grants for scientific field research and exploration through its Committee for Research and Exploration. All proposed projects must have both a geographical dimension and relevance to other scientific fields and be of broad scientific interest. Applications are generally limited to the following disciplines: anthropology, archaeology, astronomy, biology, botany, geography, geology, oceanography, paleontology, and zoology. The award funds projects in science, conservation, storytelling, education, and technology, in fields related to the ocean, land, wildlife, human history and cultures, and human ingenuity.

Nobel Week Dialogue

Fueled by a common belief that in order to change the world you need to experience it, EF College Study and The Forum on Education Abroad have created a first-of-its-kind, high-impact student scholarship program, in collaboration with EF's educational partner the Nobel Prize Museum. This interdisciplinary program is dedicated to including students from diverse backgrounds, and future leaders from all over the world are invited to apply. Only 10 students will be selected to attend the prestigious program, and all applications are due in early May. During this fully-funded program, the selected students will participate in an online project-based course, travel to Sweden for an international field study, and attend sessions at the Nobel Week Dialogue: a collaborative event that brings some of the world's leading scientists, policy-makers, and thinkers together to explore scientific topics through a global lens. Led by distinguished international faculty-leaders, scholarship recipients will tackle global challenges through action learning projects (ALPs).

Organization of American States (OAS) Fellowships
The OAS Academic Scholarship Program (Regular Program), established in 1958, grants a variety of scholarships every year for the pursuit of Master’s Degrees, Doctoral Degrees and Graduate Research leading to a university degree in international locations including the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada, and Europe.

Eligibility:
OAS Academic Scholarships are awarded for full-time studies at any university in an OAS Member State, with the exception of the applicant’s sponsoring country. RIT Education Abroad Travel grants supports study abroad on RIT Global Campus, Exchange, Faculty-Led, or International Research programs. You do not need to complete a separate scholarship application for this award. When applying for an eligible program in the RIT Study Abroad Compass, "opt-in" to be considered for the scholarship in the financial aid section of your application. RIT Honors Travel Grant

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships is a programme of scholarships offered by the Scottish Government in collaboration with Scottish universities and colleges. The Nahum Goldman Fellowship Program
The purpose of the International Nahum Goldmann Fellowship is to provide a constructive space for young leaders to test questions and assumptions, practice critical leadership skills, and learn about the diversity and shared values across the Jewish world. International Nahum Goldmann Fellowships are unique week long seminars for emerging Jewish leaders between the ages of 25-40 worldwide. The Fellowship brings together Jews of vastly different religious and political affiliations and exposes them to the highest level of Jewish learning, to the myriad challenges facing Jewish communities around the world and to the dynamic responses to these challenges. The Professor Rahamimoff Travel Grants Program for Young Scientists
The Prof. Rahamimoff Travel Grants Program is open to PhD students doing research that requires facilities or expertise not available in their home countries. The program has two calls annually, each supporting 10 awards.

ThinkSwiss Scholarship
ThinkSwiss is a scholarship program funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). It is managed by the Office of Science, Technology, and Higher Education at the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington, D.C. and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Ottawa, Canada. The aim of the program is to promote research opportunities in Switzerland for American and Canadian students and to foster exchange between Swiss, U.S., and Canadian universities and research institutions. The ThinkSwiss program encompasses both the Summer School Travel Grants and Research Scholarships. The participants will benefit from hands-on research, training and exposure to cutting-edge issues within a professional research community. Participants are selected by the respective summer school. Research Scholarships - for undergraduate or graduate students who have already found a research opportunity with a Swiss university. The ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship opens doors to the world of Swiss academia, which combines a high quality curriculum with innovative thinking. For whom? This program is designed for students who are enrolled at a U.S. or Canadian university and who have completed their sophomore year. The scholarship is open to students from all fields if they have an acceptance letter from a professor at a Swiss university for a research stay in their group.

Volunteer Forever Travel Scholarship
Since 2014, Volunteer Forever has been offering travel scholarships to help participants defray the cost of volunteering, studying, interning, teaching, or working abroad. Twice a year, we award a $500 to $1,000 scholarship to two travelers. This scholarship is open to travelers embarking on all kinds of meaningful trips: no matter where you’d like to go worldwide, we’re here to help. The scholarship award can be used for anything related to your travel, including the program fee, airfare, travel insurance, or even spending money while abroad! Wallace Biodiversity Grant

Students awarded an Alfred Wallace grant use the money towards their participation on scientific research projects conducted in the Wallacea region of Indonesia. During the eight week projects, students conduct bio-diversity studies, experience the highs (and lows) of real-life environmental research and contribute to on-going scientific investigations. The students work alongside world class scientists and the daily lectures from these experts complement the hands-on data gathering that is a core part of all the projects. There is a fee for participation. However, Operation Wallacea offers Alfred Russel Wallace Grants, aimed at students looking to join one of the biodiversity teams working in remote parts of the world in the summer. This grant is available for any students enrolled as an undergraduate at a US academic institution and booked on to any Opwall summer project.

Yamaha Global Internship

Yamaha Corporation is recruiting a wide range of competitive R&D and product development engineers for its internship programs. Interns will be working at the Innovation Center, which is Yamaha's dedicated R&D headquarters located in Hamamatsu, Japan. The program will span approximately 12 weeks in summer season, and also will support your travel and accommodations. Interns will be members of teams which include other Yamaha researchers and engineers.
