Amy has interviews published in ‘Sculpture’
Michael Amy, professor of the history of art, had his interviews with the Dutch contemporary artist Herman van Bergen and the Belgian-Cuban contemporary artist Ricardo Brey published in the September/October 2023 issue of Sculpture. Van Bergen, who lives on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao, is the recipient of the International Sculpture Center’s 2022 Innovator Award, and Brey, who lives in Ghent, Belgium, was the first Cuban artist to have work featured in the contemporary art exhibit “documenta” (Kassel, Germany), back in 1992.
