Etz publishes essay in ‘Traveling Bodies’

Karly Etz, postdoctoral associate in art history, published “Tattooed Cartographies and the Displaced Body in an Age of Political Conflict” in the edited volume Traveling Bodies: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Traveling as an Embodied Practice. Her contribution examines the work of artists who leverage the tattoo’s relationship to bodily mobility and systems of power to formulate powerful critical geographies.
