Gallery r, Rochester Institute of Technology’s Metro Showcase and Learning Laboratory for the Arts, goes solo this summer with an exhibition highlighting the career of artist Bob Cole, who is an RIT professor in the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences. The work on display—which dates from 1971 to 2010—comes from his works displayed at the Memorial Art Gallery, various private collections as well as Cole’s personal collection.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Gallery r is also showcasing RIT alumni artwork by Julianna Furlong Williams, Aspasia Tsoutsoura, Mary Lum and more.

Gallery r, located at 775 Park Ave., is open from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The gallery is also open the first Friday of the month from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free. For information call 585-242-9470.
