Worden rewrites classic Walter Benjamin essay
Daniel Worden, associate professor of art, had his essay “The Work of Art in the Age of Transmedia Production (With Regards to Walter Benjamin)” published in Angelaki: Journal of the Theoretical Humanities. In the essay, Worden rewrites the philosopher Walter Benjamin’s classic essay “The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction” in order to understand art, media, politics, and society today.
