Dr. Philip R. Tyler Active Learning Classroom
In 2017, Saunders College of Business dedicated the Dr. Philip R. Tyler Active Learning Classroom in honor of an associate professor emeritus of marketing who taught at Rochester Institute of Technology for 38 years. Philip Tyler, also a Saunders alumnus - '65 Business Administration - had a lasting impact on the college and the students he taught. His special recognition, as best captured by the Phil Tyler Room Dedication Facebook Group page highlighting stories of Dr. Tyler, made this dedication possible to bring new technology to the newly renovated Saunders classroom. The classroom features:
- Digital smartboard
- Modular, reconfigurable layout
- Self-contained pods designed for collaboration, with three individual computer hookups to allow for group use of monitors
- RIT ID access
