Businesses are inundated with a firehose of data from a series of customer touchpoints, from point-of-sale interactions to social media engagement to sales data and much more. A master’s degree in business analytics from Saunders College of Business gives students the tools to use big data to analyze and interpret this information to inform and guide strategic business decisions.

Students in business analytics work with such programs as VBA, R, Python, Tableau, Matlab, and SAS to collect, analyze, and visualize data in order to create powerful business solutions. The continuously revised curriculum broadens and deepens business knowledge through courses related to business analytics, including management information systems, marketing, accounting, finance, management, and engineering. Through a state-of-the-art facility housing Bloomberg Financial Markets technology, stay up-to-date with financial trends by learning big data and data analytics in the Sklarsky Center for Business Analytics. The flexible program is available on-campus and online. Students are also able to receive an Advanced Certificate of Accounting and Financial Analytics.

International students can additionally qualify for a 24-month work extension to their Optional Practical Training (OPT) period, allowing for up to three years of work in the United States.
