Hiration is available to current RIT students and alumni from the Rochester campus, using an RIT student or alumni account. If you meet the access criteria and are having difficulty accessing Hiration, please email careerservices@rit.edu.

How to Use Hiration:

  1. Visit https:/rit.hiration.com/ and log in using your RIT account. For help, contact careerservices@rit.edu.
  2. Select “+” next to “Create a New Resume/Cover Letter.”
  3. Choose a resume/cover letter design.
  4. Upload resume/cover letter information.
    • “Create a New Resume” option will allow you to build your resume from scratch. With this option, you will be asked to input the information you would like to include on your resume.
    • “Upload My Resume” option will allow you to take your current resume and transform it into an ATS-friendly template. For the best experience, be sure that your current resume utilizes conventional section headers (Professional Summary, Skills, Work Experience, Education, etc.).
  5. Review feedback and revise document.
  6. When you are done editing your document, click “Review & Download.”
