Center for Geographic Information Science & Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology conducts basic and applied research related to geographic information science, geographic visualization and analytics, spatial thinking, geographic education. Applications of our research are primarily applied to the domains of disaster management, refugee affairs, and educational capacity building in developing countries. Our team is internationally focused with research projects in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
