8th Honors Program Colloquium: Showcasing academic excellence
On Friday, April 24, 2026, our Zagreb campus hosted the 8th Honors Program Colloquium, where students presented their research projects developed under faculty mentorship. Launched in fall 2022, the Honors Program continues to provide high-achieving students with opportunities for advanced academic exploration and interdisciplinary inquiry.
Led and organized by Dr. Nina Antičić and Tamara Lipnjak, Student Life and Well-Being Coordinator, this semester’s colloquium brought together 24 students whose work spanned a wide range of disciplines, from artificial intelligence and data analytics to marketing, design, literature, and programming. Through their projects, students explored complex topics, applied innovative thinking, and demonstrated the ability to connect theory with real-world challenges:

Students who meet the criteria can apply to join the Honors Program by selecting an Honors option within designated courses taught by RIT Croatia faculty. Working closely with a faculty mentor, students explore topics of interest in greater depth, often resulting in research, projects, and insights that extend beyond standard coursework.
