Interview Day

There will be an optional Interview Day on Friday, October 11, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Bausch and Lomb Center open to employers attending the career fair. Employers may set up individual interviews with students during the career fair.

Employer Information

Registration

Register for the Civil Engineering and Construction Industry Career Fair through Career Connect beginning Monday, July 1. A Career Services coordinator will work with your organization to determine whether the event is a good fit or if other options better support your recruiting goals.

Fees

The registration fee is $275 for the fair and includes two recruiters, a six-foot table, and lunch for attending representatives. Additional representatives are $75 per person, up to four representatives. Interview Day registration fee is $25 per representative.

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice and is required to secure your space.

  • If a company cancels their Career Fair Registration 30 days or more before the event, their credit card will be reimbursed through the Nelnet system. 
  • If cancellation requests are received within 30 days or less of the event, fees will not be refunded.
Before Fair

If you need to send material ahead of the event, send it to the address below and plan for it to arrive between Thursday, September 28, and Tuesday, October 10.

It is advised to track your packages a few days before the event to ensure their arrival.

Pre-addressed shipping labels (Avery #5168) can be downloaded here, otherwise copy and paste the address below. Shipped materials will be waiting for you at employer check-in.

After Fair

Have return shipping labels filled out and ready to place on all packages you wish to ship back after the career fair. These items will be shipped out the morning after the career fair, provided that all necessary information is included on the shipping label.

Career Fair Parking

A parking pass is emailed to event registrants. Please use one pass per company and plan to carpool. Parking is very limited.

Drop off your materials at Gene Polisseni Center. Park in U Lot until spots are full. Overflow parking is in C Lot next to Grace Watson Hall. 

To get from C Lot to Polisseni Center, there is a walking path behind the dining hall (Grace Watson) and through the trees OR we have a shuttle van.

Interview Day Parking

A parking pass will be provided. Please park in Lot G.

Employer check-in and set-up begins at 11:30 a.m. Tables are not pre-assigned. It is first-come, first-served. There are some electrical outlets, which are also first-come, first-served.

Whether you graduated four months ago or five years ago, employers are excited to meet RIT Tigers from all years of experience. Check in with your RIT ID at registration and network with employers, students, and other alumni.
