Tom Jefferson is a 30 year veteran of the semiconductor industry known for leveraging his cross-functional experience in manufacturing, automation, simulation and modeling, supply chain, business operations, construction and finance to collaborate across organizations and enable common goals. He has spent the last 30 years at Intel, where he held multiple leadership positions, most recently serving as Chief of Staff to Intel’s Chief Operating Officer. His passion is turning vision into action at the confluence of people, systems, and technology.
Tom earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from RIT in 1994. He has authored 20+ publications and invited keynote presentations in his areas of expertise. He was the General Chair of the WinterSimulation Conference (WSC), served on the WSC Foundation Board of Trustees, and was honored with the WSC Distinguished Service Award in 2014. He served on the Advisory Board for the Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) department for 12 years, and was honored with induction into the ISE Academy in 2019. In 2020, along with his fraternity brothers, Tom established the Robert Parada Endowed Leadership Fund at RIT.
Tom is a lifelong pianist and saxophone player with a performing arts family; his son is a saxophone player attending Jacksonville University, and his daughter is a Universal Dance major at Oklahoma City University.
