Avenue Festival, a July tradition in Rochester, saw the first anniversary of RIT's Gallery r. Located at 775 Park Ave., the student-run gallery usually features exhibits by graduate and undergraduate students in RIT's art school, as well as works by visiting artists. The anniversary exhibit, Ground Score: Fine Art by Digital Artists, was a salute to Rochester area alumni. Participating exhibitors included Tony Bacchiocchi '87, Danica Eskind '82, Natalie Hawryschuk '95 and Mike Johnson '77.

"The Park Avenue Festival offered a tremendous opportunity for gallery goers to stop in and view the exciting new works our alumni are creating," says Zerbe Sodervick, advisor to Gallery r and professor in the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.
