Joseph H. Boccacino ’47 (mechanical tool design) of Rochester retired in 1985 as a purchasing agent for Singer Education (formerly Graflex). He began his career with the company in the tool design area.
Gordon Fagan ’47 (GAP) was honored by the International Society of Marine Painters, which selected one of his latest paintings for the ISMP Marine Internet Juried Exhibition 2004.

Owen Smith ’78 (GAP) was named president and managingdirector for NAA/lfra Technical Solutions LLC, a joint venture of the Newspaper Association of American and lfra, the international organization serving the news publishing industry. Smith joins Technical Solutions from Owen Smith & Associates, Rochester, an international consulting organization. From 1995 to 2000, Smith was the Paul & Louise Miller Distinguished Professor of Newspaper Operations at RIT, where he coordinated the newspaper program and was the primary instructor in newspaper systems analysis, management, distribution and production.
