GAP Day
If tuition was all the funding RIT had, we would run out of money to keep the university going in late February each year. That's our "gap" day - when we must officially depend on other funding sources, like donor gifts, to sustain the full RIT experience for students.
With your annual unrestricted support at any level, there's no limit to what RIT Tigers can achieve.
Choose to close the gap today.

Need additional income? RIT can help!
We have some exciting news that can give your retirement income a boost while supporting RIT's future. As of January 1, 2023, and for the second time in six months, Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) payout rates have increased. Yes, that means you'll get more money for the same investment. This is big news.
But wait, it gets better. If you are age 70 ' or older, you are now eligible to make a one-time distribution from your IRA to fund a life income gift for yourself. The Secure Act 2.0now allows a tax-free transfer from your IRA directly into a Charitable Gift Annuity. The tax-free transfer commonly known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) will be applied to your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if needed. With this opportunity, you will receive guaranteed payments for life instead of one lump-sum payment this year.
