Alum Makes $3.5 Million Gift to School of Photographic Arts & Sciences
Chance Wright ’18, MBA ’19, an alum of the Photographic & Imaging Arts program, has made a $3.5 million gift to the school, the largest single gift ever received by the College of Art and Design. Wright also earned an MBA from RIT’s Saunders College of Business in 2019.

Alum wins Toy of the Year Award with Ollyball
An RIT alum who embraced the idea of kids playing ball in the house was rewarded for the daring approach. Joseph Burke ’81 (graphic gesign) won the Rookie of the Year category at the 2019 Toy Association’s Toy of the Year Awards — known as the “Oscars of the toy industry.”

Industrial design students found their way to Sesame Street as they celebrated the culmination of a thrilling collaboration with the widely beloved brand. Students spent the fall 2018 semester working with Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit education organization behind Sesame Street, to design modern products around the theme of “Urgency of Play.”
