Graphic Design Studio II

This course will focus on the analysis, creation and use of imagery for communication purposes, along with an introduction to symbol and icon design as it relates to branding. Processes and techniques for creating images are explored. Projects incorporate symbolism, concept development and integration of image and text. This course will build upon the principles and theories learned in Graphic Design Studio I with project solutions developed for print media, motion and digital use.

AI & Copyright for Creatives

This course will serve as an introduction to Copyright Laws as they pertain to creative works. The Right to Copy is an especially prudent topic in our ever-developing world of AI technologies. Students will examine the historical foundations of Copyright Law in the United States and expand on the policies on a global scale as they pertain to the contemporary challenges of AI and creative works. Course content will explore hands-on practical learning covering various forms of articles, cases, textbook passages, contract reviews, and written arguments.
