Foster and Selinger receive honorable mention for paper

As part of an ongoing collaboration with computer scientists at Virginia Tech, Shaun Foster, professor in the School of Design, and Evan Selinger, professor in the Department of Philosophy, contributed to a paper titled “Visceral Notice and Privacy Mechanisms for Eye Tracking in Augmented Reality.” The paper received an Honorable Mention for the Best Paper Award at the 2025 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality. The paper was co-authored by Nissi Otoo, Kailon Blue, G. Nikki Rameriz, Selinger, Foster, and Brendan David-John.
