RIT's furniture design program welcomed visiting artist Daniel Michalik to explore the wonders of working with cork and its properties as a renewable resource.

Michalik led demos with students on making a cork chair before moving to the lathe to make bowls. His talk and demos were sponsored by the furniture design program’s Beth and Ira Nash Endowed Scholarship.
