Hospitality Design Studio | INDE 212 | 2020
Student's endeavored to design a bistro located within a theoretical hotel representative of a historical/cultural aspect of the City of Rochester. Working with a local hotel group they developed an understanding of hotel standards as they would be applied within this site in downtown Rochester. This studio was impacted by the rapid shift to online instruction due to NYS COVID-19 isolation requirements. Projects were abbreviated but the outcomes represent the sprit and creativity which exemplifies RIT Interior Design! Students were challenged with adapting to issues with hardware and often unstable internet connectivity in their homes.
