Lamp Design – Crystal Lotus

This project is part of the Digital Drawing Course. The sophomore student Tony Favorito developed his ability to create physical objects from a digital vector. He designed the lamp idea, made paper mockups, drew digital parts in Adobe Illustrator to laser cut, and assembled the lamp. In class, the instructor introduced students to Illustrator, Photoshop, and laser cutting, with a visit to the FabLab. Ideation, execution, and ability to bring digital projects to life were developed during this project.
