Metaproject 15: Contemporary Furniture Solutions

The collaboration highlighted the 15th iteration of the annual Metaproject course, an initiative through RIT's Vignelli Center for Design Studies and industrial design BFA program that allows students to develop products and solutions with guidance from an industry partner. Student output is then showcased in a global venue and potentially placed into commercial production. Coursework from Metaproject 15 was presented at the 2025 International Contemporary Furniture Fair, where a panel of jurors awarded RIT and Icon Design's exhibit "Best of Schools" out of close to 20 universities from around the world.
