RIT Financial Management Association Students Attend G.A.M.E. Forum 2026
Saunders students from the RIT Financial Management Association attended Quinnipiac’s Global Asset Management Education (G.A.M.E.) Forum in New York City, March 19-20, 2026. G.A.M.E. is the world’s largest student-run financial conference.
The attendees were Shane Girolamo ’28 (finance and computer science), Koa Butler ’28 (finance and MIS), Caden Cavo ’29 (finance and accounting), Cole Hess ’27 (finance and MIS), Brennan Lee ’26 (MS finance), Michael Paoletti ’27 (finance), and Lanyin “L” Zheng ’27 (finance and MIS).
Students were accompanied by Hao Zhang, the director of BS-Finance and MS-Finance program and the faculty advisor of the FMA club.
At the conference, the students had the opportunity to present, compete, and engage in discussions with leading industry professionals. Shane Girolamo noted, “Thanks to the generous support of Saunders College of Business, the FMA club has the opportunity to attend the G.A.M.E. Forum every year, where our club’s members gain exposure to the top finance roles that exist in New York City, including investment banking and asset management. For most, it leads to a realization that these roles are very attainable for RIT finance students.”
Brennan Lee added, “My favorite part of the trip was the form’s breakout sessions, where you could choose which topic you wanted to learn more about. Additionally, we were able to connect with some incredible RIT alumni who currently work in the finance industry and talked about life after school and what to expect going forward.”
Students also took time out to visit the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Bloomberg Headquarters, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

With the support of RIT Advancement and Alumni offices, students coordinated networking visits with Saunders alumni who work in finance on Wall Street. An alumni dinner was a highlight of the trip.

Brennan Lee and Lanyin “L” Zheng participated in the Global Portfolio Competition and Poster Session at the forum. “This NYC experience has been one of the most valuable opportunities I’ve had at RIT. Participating in the Portfolio Management Competition allowed us to apply critical thinking in a real-life situation where our arguments had to be defended to succeed. This combination of experiences is the essence of what RIT has taught me,” said Zheng. “To top it all off, I managed to schedule an on-site interview in NYC amid all these activities and landed an internship for this summer.”
This visit marks the second time students from the Financial Management Association have attended Quinnipiac’s Global Asset Management Education Forum.
“Supporting additional experiential-based learning opportunities for our students, like the GAME Forum, is a differentiating feature of a Saunders College education at RIT,” said Jacqueline Mozrall, dean of Saunders College of Business. “Not only participating in GAME Forum, but visiting the NYSE, Bloomberg, Federal Reserve as well as engaging with Saunders alums on Wall Street, allows our students to build their professional network while developing real-world insights and perspectives to support their learning and career development.”
