A team of RIT researchers, led by Professor Linwei Wang, is improving healthcare by creating hybrid AI digital twins of patient’s organs and diseases. The work will lead to real-time, physics-integrated digital twins of the liver and improved AI models that could assist doctors with heart surgery.

A new National Science Foundation grant will allow 18 RIT students to travel to Sweden and conduct artificial intelligence (AI) research that enhances the industrial workplace. The students will take part in a program of AI research, professional development, and mentorship, which includes eight weeks at University West, near Gothenburg, Sweden.

Exploding Kittens, the animated series based on the game, premiered on Netflix July 12. The nine-episode first season brings characters from the game to life and introduces new ones. It also coincides with updates to the Netflix Exploding Kittens mobile game and new show-adapted merchandise.

The comics collection at RIT is growing by leaps and bounds and the new Kubert Lounge and Gallery makes it a visible presence on campus. The interdisciplinary art form is right at home at RIT.
