Exercise Science

Exercise Science is a growing field that scientifically addresses issues of health and fitness as well as human performance.  You’re at the right place to learn more about the study of Exercise Science at RIT. Our Exercise Science Program offers a Clinical and an Athletic track.  The Clinical Track is for students interested in helping people recover from the unhealthy effects of a sedentary lifestyle and the Athletic Track focuses on training athletes to extend and expand their capacity to perform.

The Exercise Science Degree is a full Bachelor’s Degree requiring the completion of 120 academic credits. The degree includes 65 credits in the liberal arts and sciences, 6 elective credits and 49 credits specifically in Exercise Science Coursework.  The degree is designed to be completed in four years and is offered at RIT as an on campus learning experience.
