Staff Pay Structure

The Staff Pay Structure aligns staff jobs to market-based pay ranges and is designed to complement the Staff Career Architecture (SCA) framework.

  • The Staff Career Architecture provides a structured framework for defining and organizing staff positions throughout the university based on discipline and level of responsibility. More information on the Staff Career Architecture can be found in the Staff Job Profile Catalog.

  • The Pay Structure features distinct pay ranges, each developed to reflect market-based compensation for jobs with similar responsibilities and skill sets in the external labor market.

  • Jobs are assigned Pay Ranges within the structure based on job family, job profile, career stream, job level, and associated external labor market data.
